Morgan Overview:
The Morgan Motor Company is a British automobile manufacturer. The company was founded in 1910 by H.F.S. Morgan and was run by him until 1959. Peter Morgan, son of H.F.S., ran the company until his death in 2003. The factory is located in Malvern Link (an area of Malvern in Worcestershire) and has 155 employees. All the cars are assembled by hand. The waiting list for a car can be up to a year. Production is nine cars a week and each car takes three months to build.

Morgan Motor Company has since produced popular models like; Morgan Roadster and Morgan Aero 8.The Morgan Roadster is the latest model produced by the Morgan Motor Company. It was introduced in 2004 replacing the Morgan plus 8. The car is identical to its predecessor except for new modern Ford V6 mechanicals. It was based on the chassis design of the Morgan Plus 4 extended by 2 inches (50 mm) in wheelbase and the same in the track but the big change was the engine which was the Rover V8 unit, which at first had a capacity of 3528 cc, coupled to a 4 speed gearbox. The Morgan Aero 8 is a Sports car designed and built by the Morgan Motor Company in their factory in Malvern Link; Great Britain. The Aero 8 is notable for several reasons. Primarily because it is the first new Morgan design since the Morgan Plus 8, which was released in 1968. It is also the first Morgan vehicle with an alloy. The engine powering the Aero 8 is a 4400 cc V8 built by BMW and is mated to a 6-Speed Getrag transmission. All Aero 8s are built by hand in MorgansMalvern Link factory, where they are able to produce up to 9 cars a week.
